It allowed me to work with a medium which I'm not generally accustomed to, but in a style which I enjoy for many reasons.
For example I enjoyed contrasting the mirror-board with blank card in one instance, and using the placement to draw attention to the difference and to jarr the viewer by breaking a pattern in what would normally be a geometric, minimal sculpture.
Another student also noted to me pictures taken reflected off the mirror-board had a painted quality, so I took a photo or two of that effect. I would like to simulate that (maybe a camera to oilpainted effect?, exaggeration of features?). We'll see...
